Acton sits against the New Hampshire border in the northwest corner of York County, built around Great East Lake and Mousam Lake with very little else in between. It is one of the most seasonal towns we cover, with lake property that empties after Labor Day, and one of the most remote, which we say plainly. Because the border runs through the lakes, plenty of owners here also hold property on the New Hampshire side, and we are one of the few shops licensed to work on both.
The state line runs through the lakes here. Owning on both shores usually means two contractors. With us it does not.

Can you service our property on both sides of the lake?
Yes, and that is genuinely unusual. We hold Maine and New Hampshire master plumber licensure separately, so a Maine camp and a New Hampshire house are the same relationship instead of two contractors with two standards.
How should a lake camp be closed for the winter?
Completely and deliberately. A full drain-down including traps and low runs, or monitored heat if the building will be used occasionally. The partial version is what produces the spring phone calls.
Is Acton within your service range?
